Monika Suchowierska, Ph.D.

Monika Suchowierska received her PhD in Applied Behavioral Science (formerly Humand Development and Family Life) from KU. She received her BA in Psychology in 1998 from Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, FL. and her MA in Human Development in 2000 from the University of Kansas, under the Supervision of Dr. Donald M. Baer and Dr. L. Keith Miller.

As a graduate student, her interests shifted from using principles of behavior analysis in educational settings to applying those principles to solve problems that are important to people with disabilities. She worked with Dr. Glen White on projects in Participatory Action Research (PAR).
