Professional Biography

Val Renault develops and disseminates informational materials about the work conducted by the RTC/IL. This includes producing fact sheets, newsletters, brochures and other materials, as well as overseeing the Center's web site.

Her experience as a professional communicator includes work with the University of Kansas Hospital, KU's Work Group for Community Health and Development, the Kansas Association for the Medically Underserved and the KU School of Business.

She also taught English literature and composition at KU for a total of nine years.

Education

Renault has a master's degree in English literature from the University of Southern California and a bachelor's degree in seondary education with a language arts concentration from the University of Kansas.
