Trainings to Support Independent Living for
People with Disabilities
The RTC/IL provides a variety of trainings to enhance the independence of people with disabilities and further encourage the use of our research findings. Formats include workshops, online trainings, graduate and post-graduate courses and other activities.
- Living Well with a Disability is a workshop that teaches skills for developing a healthy lifestyle.
- Emergency Preparedness
trainings and resources are designed for a range of audiences, from consumers to first responders.
- KU's Applied Behavioral Science Department offers graduate students specialized research strands in physical disabilities, independent living and other focus areas. .
- The Research Group on Rehabilitation and Independent Living is our educational program for graduate students.
- Our International Work and collaborations also provide training opportunities.
Graduate Student Employment
