$100.00 will be awarded to students whose posters are selected.

Conference Registration Fees
The fee to attend this two-day conference is:

  • Professional/Community Member: $125 by Sept. 10, 2010; $150 after Sept. 11, 2010.
  • Student: $75 by Sept. 10, 2010; $100 after Sept. 11, 2010.


This state-of-the-science conference will be held in conjunction with the annual conference of the Association of Programs for Rural Independent Living (APRIL). Day 2 of the MICL conference is also being offered as an APRIL pre-conference session.

To attend Day 2, you only need to register for one of these conferences. For information about APRIL’s conference, visit http://www.april-rural.org/.

Please note that CEUs are NOT being offered for this conference.


Lodging

The conference is being held at the Sheraton Overland Park (Kansas) Hotel. You must make reservations no later than October 15, 2010 to get the conference rate:

The basic room rate is $132 a night for up to four-person occupancy. Above rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes of 16.65%. 

Accessible rooms are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Note: If you are attending the APRIL conference that follows our conference, you will need to make separate lodging reservations. Visit APRIL's website for details.

Overland Park, Kansas, is a suburb of Kansas City, Missouri.Check the hotel's website for information about the local area.
